Sumter Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing ministry that seeks to partner with people in Sumter County to build decent, and affordable homes.
Established in 1987, Sumter Habitat for Humanity has built 119 homes in Sumter County. In February 2017, we began the construction of 2 new homes.
Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program information pamphlets that include a pre-application are now available to all individuals that are interested in our homeownership program.
If you are interested, please visit the Sumter Habitat for Humanity office located inside the Habitat ReStore, 30 Bridge Court, Sumter, during regular business hours of Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to pick-up the information. No phone calls please.
