Sumter Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to ending
substandard housing and building strong
communities in Sumter County. We partner with local
businesses, community organizations, faith
communities, cities and volunteers to build simple
decent homes which are sold to qualified families with
a 20 year, no interest mortgage that is paid back to
Sumter Habitat for Humanity. As the homeowners
make their mortgage payments, they are recycled back
into building additional homes right here in Sumter! |

- Easily read about our projects online
- Register yourself with Sumter Habitat for Humanity as a volunteer
- Sign yourself (or a group) up for specific work days

- AND MUCH MORE!
VolunteerUP is a very user friendly system, and will definitely allow us to have more interaction and communication with our many volunteers. You can view our calendar and volunteer NOW for workdays we have coming in the near future.
VolunteerUP only requires a one-time registration, where you will be issued your own username and password, and you can create your own profile to let us know your skills and interests.
Getting started is EASY…..simply click on the VolunteerUP logo to the right (it's also located on all of our web pages) and you will be directed to a section of our site that will allow you to register as a volunteer! For first time users simply click on the words Log In at the upper left had corner of the page, and you are on your way. Even if you have been a long-time Sumter Habitat for Humanity volunteer, you will still need to register with us again through VolunteerUP! CLICK HERE to view a brief tutorial on how to register and use the VolunteerUP system.
