College Students will soon be returning to Sumter in
February, March and April of 2008 to begin work on two
new Habitat for Humanity Homes in Sumter! As always,
Sumter and Sumter Habitat for Humanity are pleased to
host these groups as they take their spring break time to
come to Sumter to work on these homes! This is the 18th
year Sumter Habitat has hosted alternative spring break
students in Sumter!
Sumter Habitat for Humanity is needing assistance in
providing lunches and some evening meals for these
workers, who will be here in groups of up to 35-40 students
per week. See Information below to find out how you can
provide a meal!

Information For Local Folks Wishing To
Provide A Meal Or Just Help Out!
An army marches on its stomach, and that's especially true
of our College Student Workers who visit Sumter between
February and April of each year. If you would be interested
in providing a lunch one day (Mon-Fri) or an evening meal
(Sun/Weds./Thurs) sometime during late February and mid-
April, please contact the Habitat office at 775-5767. To
find out available dates and the number of students that we
need to feed each day, please review our Event Calendar,
which will have up-to-date information to help you in planning
feeding a student group.
