Over A Hundred Homes Built....Hundreds of Lives Changed.
Find Out How You Can Help!

Sumter Habitat for Humanity's Carpenter Club is an organization whereby members make a pledged donation to Sumter Habitat for Humanity each time a new home is completed (Your annual obligation will not exceed 10 homes). A statement is sent to each Club Member at the end of the each quarter, informing them of the total number of homes completed in that quarter and informing them of the amount due.

Carpenter Club members are also sent Habitat for Humanity's newsletter and are invited to home dedications and others special events.

You can invest in our community without breaking your budget. The cost of becoming a Wall-Raiser could provide you with a really good meal in a restaurant, or help provide a deserving family a lifetime of housing!

Your individual pledge, or even the pledge of a church, Sunday school class, business, or other organization will give our program that extra boost we need to turn blueprints into a family's dream home.

ALL money raised by Carpenter Club Members will be designated for use exclusively to build Habitat for Humanity homes for families, not for administrative or other expenses.

As we continue to grow in the Sumter Community (we have completed over 100 homes to date), we find the need to build and to help working families also grows as well.

Habitat for Humanity works with our partner families and volunteers to build simple, decent housing for qualified Sumter area families. Our partner families are hard-working families, looking to achieve the dream of owning their own home. Sumter Habitat can provide many of them with that dream…….but ONLY WITH YOUR HELP!

It costs Sumter Habitat for Humanity approximately $60,000 to build each Habitat home. Habitat for Humanity raises this money from various sources and use of donated goods and services. Habitat for Humanity is NOT a government agency and DOES NOT accept government funds for our building activities. Money needed for each home is raised from the kindness of individuals, churches, business and civic organizations to provide the needed capital to build our homes.

As a CARPENTER CLUB MEMBER, your donation will be used 100% toward defraying the necessary costs associated with building a new home for a deserving family. This is an easy way YOU can be an integral, ongoing part of our ministry. Won't you help us today?
